CGPA Calculator
Calculate your CGPA from grade points and credits, with an approximate percentage conversion.
About the CGPA Calculator
CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) summarises your academic performance as a single number, usually out of 10. This calculator computes a credit-weighted CGPA across all your subjects.
Enter each subject's grade point and credit hours, and the tool returns your CGPA plus a common percentage equivalent.
How to use the CGPA Calculator
- Enter the grade point (0–10) and credits for each subject.
- Add more subjects as needed.
- Click Calculate CGPA.
How the calculation works
CGPA = Σ(grade point × credits) ÷ Σ(credits)
Percentage ≈ CGPA × 9.5
Percentage ≈ CGPA × 9.5
Example
Grade points of 9, 8 and 7.5 with credits 4, 3 and 3 give a CGPA of about 8.25, roughly 78.4%.
