About the Simple Interest Calculator
Simple interest is the most straightforward way to work out the cost of borrowing or the return on a deposit. It is charged only on the original principal, making it easy to understand and verify.
Enter the principal, annual rate and time in years to get the interest and the total amount payable.

How the calculation works
Simple Interest = P × R × T ÷ 100

P = principal · R = rate % · T = years
Example
